Zinnie Sobers

Zinnie Ruth Sobers was born on January 11, 1935 in Ninety-Six, SC. She departed this life October 12, 2025. She was the youngest of her siblings who all preceded her in death.

Her unwavering dedication to her family and her entrepreneurial spirit left an indelible mark on the lives she touched. Although Zinnie was born in South Carolina she was raised in Brooklyn NY.

Zinnie’s remarkable journey was defined by her unrelenting passion f or her business, Lady’s Legs hosiery. With tireless enthusiasm, she built a successful enterprise, bringing style and confidence to countless women internationally and nationwide. Her infectious smile and warm demeanor earned her a reputation as a devoted businesswoman and a cherished member of her community.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Sharon; three grandchildren who were the center of her universe. She also has many nieces, nephews and additional extended family that will miss her dearly. Her family was her rock and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Burial services will be held graveside at Pine Pleasant Baptist Church cemetery 1PM Monday, December 15, 2025.
