William Hamp Sayles

William Hamp Sayles, 50, of 1304 McCormick Hwy, husband of Deidre Rappley-Sayles, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.  
He was the son of Mary Taggart Sayles and the late William Sayles, Sr.   He was a graduate of Greenwood High School and  served in the U. S. Army.   He was a former employee of Self Regional Healthcare and Caterpellar as a Lab Technician.   He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and Mt. Pisgah Lodge and Founder of  the Onpassive Organization. 
He  leaves to cherish his memories,  his wife of the home, his mother of Greenwood, SC; three sons, William Sayles, III of Greenwood, SC, William Sayles of Germany and Alex (Tyrijka) Chaney of Greenwood, SC; three daughters, Marissa Sayles of Cross Anchor, SC, Tenisha Sayles and Alyssa Rappley both of Greenwood, SC; a sister, Carissa (Zannie) Griffin of Atlanta, GA;  17 grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services  will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 2 P.M. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Coronaca with Reverend Cartrell Blume, Sr officiating.  Public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 1 -6 P.M. 
Burial will be in  the  church cemetery.
The family is at the home.
