Wilbert Sherman Morton, Jr.

Wilbert Sherman Morton, Jr., 42, of 81 3rd Street, Greenwood, SC, entered into eternal rest on November 7, 2024, at Self Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Greenwood County June 21, 1982, a son of Wilbert Morton, Sr. and Jackie Syrkett Graham. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.   

He was a former manager at Burger King in Greenwood and attended Greenwood High School.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his father, Wilbert S. Morton, Sr. (Stephanie); his mother, Jackie Graham (Willie), both of Greenwood; one son, Jalin Morton, of the home; a daughter, Tilia Morton, of the home; his fiancée, Cassandra Oliver, of the home; a brother, Melvin Lamar Middleton, Jr., of Greenwood; a sister, Summer Morton, of Greenwood; three step children: Alexis Coates, Alyssa Austin and Alliyah Austin all of Greenwood; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Otis Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in the Evening Star Cemetery. Public viewing will be from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the funeral home.

The family is at the home located at 81 3rd Street, Greenwood, SC 29646 and the home of his mother, Jackie Syrkett Graham, located at 312 W Alexander Street, Greenwood, SC 29646.
