Vickie Morris Tribble, 68, of 720 Pearl Street, Greenwood, SC, wife of R.D. Tribble entered into eternal rest on September 15, 2024, at her home.
She was born in Greenwood County on September 23, 1955, a daughter of the late Willie Hawkins and Marie Kennedy Goodwin. She was formerly employed with Pro Med/Parke Davis. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School and attended Piedmont Technical College.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Karen Morris of the home and Ruth Morris of Atlanta, GA; one son, Winston Churchill Freeman Jr., of Greenwood, SC; seven brothers: John Allen Hawkins, Thomas Moore, Willie Fred Kennedy, Kenneth Hawkins (Patricia), Marshall Hawkins all of Greenwood, SC, Sherman Hawkins (Zalika) of Laurens, SC, and Byron Posley of Anderson, SC; seven sisters: Melissa Hawkins, Francine Logan (Greg), Bertha Hawkins (Terrance), Anita Drennon (Daniel) all of Greenwood, SC, Willie Roundtree (Ben) of Tulsa, OK, Chrisanthia Hawkins (Darryl) of Greenwood, SC, Michelle Posley of Columbia, SC; and Minnie “Dodie” Posley of Greenwood, SC; eight grandchildren: Braylen Freeman, Joshua Harris, Gavin Freeman, Raphael Mann, Torian Mann, Ayuni Mann, Deavonte Jirece Morris and Allyaysia Viktorya Morris; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with Minister Rafael Mann officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers and Flower bearers will be friends of the family.
Public viewing will be held from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Friday, September 20, 2024, at the funeral home.
