Theodore Padgett

Theodore Padgett, 73, husband of Henrietta Brown Padgett, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at this home. He was born in Greenwood County on November 28, 1951, a son of the late Otha Lee and Annie Mae Padgett. He was formerly employed with Greenwood Mills #5 and was a graduate of Brewer High School Class of 1970.

He was preceded in death by: a daughter, Alice Padgett Searles; a sister, Otha Mae Tucker; and two brothers, Charlie and Willie Lee Padgett.

Surviving, in addition to his wife Henrietta of the home, are: three daughters: Latarsha Padgett, Ebony Padgett and Feleicia Spencer; a son, Donovan Brown; a sister, Eva Talbert, of Hodges, SC;  6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Bobby Joe Brown and Jessie James Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, July 26, 2025, in the Percival-Tompkins Chapel with Rev. Deloris Henderson officiating.

Public viewing will be held from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the funeral home.
