Steaveon Devaster Reed

Steaveon Devaster Reed aka “REED” 49 of 310 Edward Avenue, Greenwood husband of Jacqueline Gilliam Reed slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus on March 4, 2025 at his home.

He was born in Greenwood County August 24, 1975 a son of the late John Edward Reed and Dorothy Ann Lewis Reed. He was a graduate Greenwood High School Class of 1993.

He was a formerly employed as a Warehouse Manager at Velux of America and a member of Allen Chapel AME Church.

He was presently a successful self-employed Day Trader.

He was loyal football fan to his San Franciso 49ers.

Surviving is his loving and devoted wife, Jacqueline of the home, his grandmother, Clara Pope Reed of Greenwood, SC; sons, Jamarion Jones and Keywon McBride, Jr of the home; his mother in law, Hazeleen Gilliam of  Greenwood , SC,  three daughters, Jaquisha  “Key” Reed of Greenwood, SC, Ciera Jones and Tequata Jones  of Greenwood, SC ; a son, Keyman (Paris) Jones of Greenwood, SC ;two sisters, Katina (Detric) Williams of Greenwood, SC and I’Tonya (Gregory) Rollinson of Anderson, SC ; three brothers, Lamond (Amy) Reed of Greenwood, SC,  John (Pamela) Sanders of Atlanta, GA, and Tracuase (Derquis) Johnson of Lawrenceville, GA; two sisters in law, Linda (James) Williams and Roberta Gilliam of Greenwood, SC;  9 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews , other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Steaveon Reed aka “ REED ” will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Percival Tompkins Chapel with Rev. Julius Crawford Officiating.

There will be no public viewing for Mr. Reed.

The family is at the home.
