Rosia Marie Cade, 90, widow of George Abraham Cade, entered into eternal rest on August 22, 2025, at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont. She was born in Plum Branch, South Carolina on February 16, 1935, a daughter of Herbert Wiggleton and Julia Mae Wells Wiggleton.
She was a member of Pine Grove AME Church Plum Branch, SC where she served on the Missionary Society and the Gospel Choir. She was a Caregiver for many years until her health declined.
She was the last survivor of her siblings. She was preceded in death by three children: Jerome Cade, Robert Cade and Georgia Lee Cade.
She is survived by: her loving children: Gwendolyn Wiggleton, Ann C. Reynolds, Deloris Cade, Phillip Cade, Michael Cade, Charlene Crawford, and Bonita Wright (Jessie); 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to cherish her memory.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Pine Grove AME Church. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove AME Church Cemetery. Mrs. Cade will lie in state at the Church from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
Public viewing will occur from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the Funeral Home.
