Roosevelt Wrice

Roosevelt Wrice 78 of 315 Sunset Park, Laurens, SC entered into eternal rest on August 30, 2024 at NHC Laurens. He was born March 5, 1946 to the late Cornell Sr. and Genora Hill Wrice. At an early age, he joined Laurel Hill Baptist Church of Waterloo, SC. Roosevelt was a graduate of Sanders High School. He retired from the Timken Plant in 2005 after 21 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bernard (Bunny) and Bobby.
      He is survived by his children: Jimmy Wrice (Angela) of Ft Inn, Charlene  Wrice of Simpsonville and Wayne Wrice of Laurens, SC; grandchildren: Tyree Davis of Inman,  Jordyn and Jimmy Wrice, Jr, of Ft Inn,  Isaiah Bluford of Greenville, Delaysia Wrice of Ft Inn, Sa'nora Darby of Laurens, SC and one great grandchild, Icelynn Bluford of Greenville, SC; one brother, Cornell Wrice, Jr. (Annette) of Greenville, and one sister, Lula Bell Hill of Greenville, SC; and one aunt, Dorothy Walker of NC; niece,  Barbara Lynn Miller and Cornelius (Neil) Miller, both reared in the home; and a host of other family and friends.

Services are 11:00AM  Friday, September 6 2024 at  Laurel Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
