Robert Lee Gaskin

Robert Lee Gaskin ”Boot”, 65, of 842 Christian Road, McCormick, SC, entered into eternal rest on January 23, 2026. He was born in Greenwood County on September 30, 1961, a son of the late Charlie Brooks and Annie Mae Gaskin. He was formerly employed with Adams Plant and a member of Bailey Bethel AME Church where he served as maintenance trustee.

Surviving are: a devoted cousin and caregiver, Davonna Williams (Thomas), of the home; a brother, Joseph Gaskin; two uncles, Rev. Roosevelt Brooks and David Gaskin (Alice), both of Greenwood; one great aunt, Gertrude Gaskin Dean, of Philadelphia, PA; five aunts, Ruby Gaskin and Mattie Gaskin of Baltimore, MD, Hazel Pinkney, Mamie Duncan and Loretta Brooks of Greenwood; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at Noon  pm on Wednesday February 4, 2026, at Holy Redeemer Church with Rev. Roosevelt Moton officiating.

Interment will follow in Bailey Bethel AME Church Cemetery.

Public viewing will be from 1:00 pm- 5:00 pm on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the Funeral Home.
