Rev. Anna Estelle Holloway

Rev. Anna Estelle Holloway, 84, of 509 Wright Avenue, Greenwood slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus on March 7, 2025 at NHC Healthcare.

She was born in Greenwood County July 19, 1940 a daughter of the late John Holloway and Queen Davis Holloway.

She was ordained in 2014 to preach God’s Word.

She was a member of Pine Pleasant Baptist Church and retired from Medtronic Environmental Services. She attended Brewer High School.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Linda Jean Lockhart.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son Marion Lockhart (Gloria) of Bronx, NY; a sister, Patricia A. Grant (Cecil) of the home; a special niece, Queen E.  Moss (Charlie) of Greenwood;  6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 6 gg grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held Noon Friday, March 14, 2025 at Pine Pleasant Baptist Church with Pastor Willie K Cannady officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Rev. Holloway will lie in state Friday from 11:00 a.m. until Noon at Pine Pleasant Baptist Church.

Public viewing will be from 1-5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
