Paul Jefferson Satterwhite, 67, husband of Jacqueline H. Satterwhite, entered eternal peace and rest on May 13, 2026, at the Hospice House and Palliative Care in Greenwood.
He was born in Simpsonville, SC on September 11, 1958, a son of the late Modock Satterwhite and Carrie Beeks Satterwhite.
He was a graduate of Hillcrest High School Class of 1976 and an Engineer.
He joined Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Simpsonville, SC, at an early age and attended Bethlehem Church of God Holiness in Greenwood.
Surviving are: his wife, Jackie, of the home; a son, Paul J. Satterwhite, Jr., of Charlotte, NC; a stepson, Frederick Duran Cooper, of Hickory, NC; two brothers, Perry E. Satterwhite (Cathy Lagroone) of Greenville, SC and Wymond E. Satterwhite of Hyattsville, MD; four sisters, Althea Denise Satterwhite of Simpsonville, SC, Debra Davis of Redford, Michigan, Gladys A. Satterwhite of Greenville, SC and Rita Satterwhite – Barksdale of Simpsonville, SC; three grandchildren, Xavier, Dravan and Aubree Cooper; three step-grandchildren; two aunts, Mary Brown Hill of Greenville, SC and Connie Beeks of North Miami Florida; two brothers in law, Gregory E Hill ( Brenda) of Elkins PA, Douglas Hill (Carrianne )of Greenwood, SC ; three sisters in law, Georgia Ann Miller(James) of Cross Hill, SC, Carolyn Hill and Linda E. Foster (Herbert) of Greenwood, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to cherish his memory.
Services for Paul Satterwhite will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Percival-Tompkins Chapel with Rev. Willie K. Cannady officiating assisted by Rev. Lonnie West
Interment will follow in Youngs Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Public viewing will be from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Friday.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Friday in the Percival-Tompkins Chapel.
