Otis "JOE" Lamont Reid

Otis “Joe” Lamont Reid 49 of 102 Maple Court, Greenwood entered into eternal rest on August 14, 2023. He was born December 22 1973 to Mary Annette Reid and the late Marion Wideman. He was raised in the home of Annie Kate Robinson McMorris. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Christy Hope Reid; six sons, O’Darious Reid, Tyrel Johnson, Tziah Quarles, Jamison Moore, Dexter Rapply, and Davion Brown; three daughters, Kenyae Johnson, Honestee Reid and Deia Brown; five brothers, Curtis Robinson, Bernard Robinson , James Jones, Greg (Carolyn) Hackett and Nevell Reid; seven sisters, Therea (James ) Perrin, Cynthia (Dexter) Brown, Debbie Harling, Yolanda Reid, Katrina Reid, Ericka (Mandrius) Irvin and Nicole Reid; four grandchildren; Kyheir Reid, Goddess Davis,  De’lilah Rapley and Demonte Rapley; Mother in Law, Shirley Mourey; Sisters in law, Wanda Hurley and Yolanda Mourey and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 18, 2023 at Calvary Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. E. Lamar Richardson officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 10:00 AM.
