Min. Martha Jean Collins

Minister Martha Jean Collins, 81, of 238 C Brook Stuart Drive, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, SC. She was the daughter of the late William Turner and Lula Turner.

She was a graduate of Brewer High School and Piedmont Technical College with an Associate Degree. She was a member of the St. Paul FBH Church in Greenwood.

She is survived by a brother, Kenneth (Patricia) Hearst of Jacksonville, NC; three sisters: Georgia Cartledge of Greenwood, Mary (Emmiett) Thrist of Buffalo, NY, and Sarah (Erskine) Robinson of Atworth, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at St. Paul FBH Church at 1:00 PM with Reverend Larry Benson officiating. Burial will be in the Evening Star Cemetery. Public viewing will be held at the funeral home Monday, March 27, 2023, from noon until 6:00 PM. The family is at the home of her sister, Georgia Cartledge, 119 Myrtle St., Greenwood.
