Mr. Michael A Spearman 65, of 705 Clem Road, Greenwood entered into eternal rest and peace on June 5, 2026 at Hospice and Palliative Care of Greenwood.
He was born in Greenwood County July 16, 1960 a son of the late L.T. Spearman and Annie Ruth Ross Spearman.
He was a member of Allen Chapel AME Church from a youth. Michael was always free spirit and lived his life to the fullest on his own terms!!
He was a Jack of all Trades !!!
He was loved and will be missed by his family.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon Ray Spearman.
He leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Queenetta (Tyrell) Calhoun; two grandsons, Quientearis Gaskin and Brian Calhoun; a brother, Barry M. Spearman; three sisters, Linda Davis, Sheryl Gray and Ardie V. Spearman; a sister-in-law, Marchelle T Bryant; 7 nephews, Jemel (Marliyn) Davis, Joey Davis, Vernon D Spearman, Alonzo Higgins, Devon Spearman, Sidney Spearman, Christopher Hatcher, 3 nieces, Nikiya Lomax (James III) , Shatinka Higgins, Miya C. Hackett, and a host of other relatives to cherish his memory.
Services will be held 1 pm Friday, June 12, 2026 at Percival Tompkins Chapel with Bishop Emanuel Spearman officiating. Final viewing will be at the beginning of the service
The family is at the home of his daughter, 204 Melody Lane Greenwood.
