Obituary

Mary "Toot" Syrkett 83, of 118 Cole Street widow of Leonard Syrkett entered into eternal rest on November 30, 2021 at Self Regional Medical Center. She was born in Greenwood County September 21, 1938 a daughter of the late Mylik Williams and Inez Williams Walker. She was a member of Old Mt Zion Baptist Church. She was retired from Schlumberger and was a graduate of Brewer High School. She was also a member of the Women's Aid Society # 91.

She was preceded in death by a great grandson TaDarrius Robinson.

She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted son, Dexter and his wife Teresa Syrkett of Greenwood, six grandchildren, Dexter L. Syrkett, Jr. and Dexkevious T. Syrkett, Tiffany Holloway, Latisha Holloway, Alisha Holloway and Anthony Holloway all of Greenwood; six great grandchildren,and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held 1 pm Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Evening Star Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Danny R. Webb officiating. Public viewing will be held from 2-6 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
