Mary Syrkett Obituary
Mary Lockhart Syrkett 82, of 134 Singleton Street widow of Joe Syrkett, Jr. entered into eternal rest on May 23, 2023 She was a member of Mt Pisgah Baptist Church where she served on the Missionary Society.
Surviving are two sons, Gregory Bernard Syrkett and Orlando Syrkett (Dorothy) of Greenwood; three daughters, Martha Thomas (Luther) Joann Hurley (Bobby) and Jacqueline (Willie) Graham all of Greenwood; two sisters, Susie Griffin (Robert) of Greenwood and Geneva Bursey (Al) of Henderson, Nevada; 22 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 2 gg grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday May 30, 2023 at Mt Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Otis Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in Evening Star. Mrs. Syrkett will be placed in the church at 10:00AM. Public viewing will be held from 1-6pm Monday.
