Mary Ann Pullen, 66, of 219 Cemetery Road, wife of Victor Pullen, Sr., entered into eternal rest on August 11, 2024, at Hospice Care of the Piedmont. She was born in Greenwood County on October 16, 1957, a daughter of the late Glenn Johnson, Sr. and Mary E. Jones Johnson.
She was a lifelong member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where she served faithfully in the Deaconess, Usher and Pastor’s Aide Ministries. She retired from Velux and was a graduate of Greenwood High School's Class of 1975.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Victor Pullen, Sr.; a son, Victor Pullen, Jr., of Greenville, SC; five daughters: Janette Pullen of Concord, NC, Shanee’ Rivers (Perry) of Columbia, SC, Nakaysha Pullen and Tiyanna Pullen of Dade City, FL, and Olivia Pullen of Nashville, TN; one brother, Glenn Johnson Jr. (Marilyn), of Greenwood, SC; five sisters: JoAnn Campbell (Rodney), Julia Mae Jackson (Michael), Dianne Partlow (Micheal), Linda Jackson and Charlotte Johnson Weaver (Thatus) of Greenwood, SC; five grandchildren; one special granddaughter, Miracle Boone (Lane), of Aiken SC; a special niece, Keisha Johnson, of Easley, SC; a special great nephew, Cameron Cooke; two great grandchildren, Landon and Charlie Boone; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert Johnson and Deloris Johnson.
Services will be held at Noon on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Quincy Baylor officiating and Pastor John C. Aiken and Rev. Rebecca Aiken assisting.
Mrs. Pullen will lie in state at the church from 11:00 AM until Noon on Saturday.
Burial will follow in Evening Star Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be nephews. Flower bearers will be nieces.
Public viewing will be from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM Friday in the Percival-Tompkins Chapel.
