Mary Nellie Moore Mitchell

Mary "Nellie Moore" Mitchell, 59, of 410 Blyth Road, entered into eternal rest on October 9, 2024, at her home. She was born in Greenwood County on November 14, 1964, a daughter of Leroy Brooks and Mary Helen Moore.

Surviving are: a daughter, Shenika Moore, of Greenwood; two sons, Steven Moore and Derrick Moore both of Greenwood; one brother, Ronald Jerome Moore, of Greenwood; a sister, Sara Moore, of Greenwood; 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Faith Christian Center Church with Apostle Alvin Deal officiating.

Burial will follow in Evening Star Cemetery.

Pallbearers and and Flower bearers will be friends and family.

"Nellie Moore" as she was affectionally known will be placed in the church at Noon on Tuesday.

Public viewing is from 1- 5 PM on Monday.

The family is at the home of her daughter, Shenika Moore, 107 Glencrest Court in the Willows subdivision and a son, Steven Moore, 510 Marion Street, Greenwood, SC.
