Louise Anderson Foster, 91, of 3708 Old Laurens Road, widow of Robert Lee Foster, Sr., entered into eternal rest and peace on June 08, 2026.
She was born in Cokesbury, South Carolina on February 22, 1935, a daughter of the late Rev. Charles Anderson and Louella Sheard Anderson.
She was a member and Mother of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was a member of Women’s Aid Society #69 and formerly employed with the Angelo’s Restaurant.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Lee Foster, Jr. and Roger Dale Foster, and 7 siblings.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory a daughter, Rosa Foster Anderson (Donald Sr.); three sons, Douglas Foster (Doris), Randy Foster (Alfreda) and Charles Darryl Foster (Sherri); two sisters, Rosa Lee Anderson and Mamie Garrett, both of Cokesbury; two daughters-in-law, Linda Foster and Lottie Foster; one sister-in-law, Betty Anderson, of Cokesbury; ten grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services for Mrs. Foster will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Pastor Thomas Yeargin officiating.
Interment will follow in Andrews Chapel Cemetery, Hodges, SC.
Mrs. Foster will lie in state from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Public Viewing will be held from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Friday, June 12, 2026, at the Funeral Home.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Rosa Anderson, 3708 Old Laurens Road, Greenwood, 29649.
