Mr. Louis Drennon, age 81, of 505 Milwee Avenue, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at his home.
Born in McCormick County, South Carolina on July 21, 1943, he was the son of the late Wardlaw Drennon, Sr., and the late Willie Cade Drennon. He was raised in the home of his aunt, Kitty Drennon Rouse Barrow.
He attended the public schools in Baltimore, Maryland and worked as a Building Contractor for many years.
Louis is preceded in death by: his parents, five brothers: David Drennon, Jackie Ray Drennon, Wardlaw Drennon, Jr., Garfield Drennon and Sammy Lomax.
Leaving to cherish his most fond and precious memories are: one daughter, Kiandra Garrett; special friend, Linda Garrett of Greenwood, South Carolina; six sisters: Mary Drennon White, Sandra Drennon Higgins, Ruth Ellen Drennon Marine and Bettye Jean Drennon Rodgers all of Greenwood, South Carolina; Susie Cannady and Lula Devaux both of Abbeville, South Carolina; five brothers: Ernest Drennon, Daniel (Anita) Drennon, James (Gwendolyn) Drennon and Eddie (Brenda) Drennon all of Greenwood, South Carolina and Johnny Lomax of Lowndesville, South Carolina. He will also be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Percival Tompkins Funeral Home. Public viewing will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the funeral home.The family is at the home.
