Lottie Lou Moss, 84, resident of 1110 Marshall Road, entered into eternal rest on November 20, 2024, at her home. She was born in Greenwood County on June 4, 1940, a daughter of the late Willie Moss and Thelma Williams Moss.
She was a faithful member of Flint Hill Missionary Baptist Church and a diligent worker in her community.
She retired from Self Regional Medical Center's Environmental Services Department after 33 years of dedicated service.
She was preceded in death by: her siblings: Willam Henry Moss, Eddie Moss, Truman Palmore, Gladys Coleman, and Susie Moss.
Surviving are: four sons: Charlie Moss (Queen), John Allen Moss, Tommy Moss and Michael Moss all of Greenwood; a daughter, Linda Moss Gilchrist, of Orangeburg, SC; four brothers: James Moss (Judy), Willie Moss, John Albert Moss (Donna) all of Callison, SC, and Clarence Moss of Greenwood; two sisters, Judy Moss Burton (Barry) and Brenda Moss Downs of Greenwood; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at Noon on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Flint Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. William H. Booker officiating and Rev. Donnie Kennedy presiding.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Public viewing will be from 1:00 - 5:00 PM on Friday, November 22, 2024, at the funeral home.
Ms. Moss will lay in state at the church from 11:00 AM until Noon on Saturday, November 23, 2024.
