Linda Garrett

Ms. Linda Garrett, 74, of 118 Squires Court, entered into eternal rest on January 22, 2025, at her home. She was born in Greenwood County on May 24, 1950, a daughter of the late George Garrett, Sr. and Pearlena Wideman Garrett. She was formerly employed with Carolina Pride and Kraft.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are: a daughter, Kiandra Garrett; a son, Matarvis Garrett of Greenwood; three nephews: Kelsey Belcher (LaTasha) of Simpsonville, SC, Devin Belcher (LaKena) of Newnan, Georgia, and Chad Garrett (Charlene); a  sister-in-law, Belinda Garrett, of Greenwood; a special friend, Gloria Jean; and a host of cousins and friends to cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; and her siblings: Bennie Garrett, Kathleen “Kitty” Williams, George “Bo” Garrett, Jr. and Velma Lee Williams.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 27, 2025, in the Percival-Tompkins Chapel with Bishop Emanuel Spearman officiating. Public viewing will be from 12:00 pm until 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2025.

The family is at the home of her daughter located at 505 Milwee Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.
