Lille Mae Bowman, 87, of Wesley Commons Health and Rehab, entered into eternal rest on August 14, 2025. She was born in Edgefield County on November 30, 1937, a daughter of the late Mitchell Cummings and Annie Mae Adams. She was retried from Carolina Pride and was a former caregiver.
She was a member of Liberty Springs Baptist Church where she served on the Missionary Society, Pulpit Aide and Choir Ministries.
Sher leaves to cherish her memory: a son, Willie Bowman, of Greenwood; three sisters: Lena Scurry and Helen Tate of Greenwood, and Emma White of McCormick, SC; two grandchildren, Shakina McDuffie (Zack) and Tyisha Bowman; one grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services for Mrs. Lillie Mae Bowman will be held at Noon on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Liberty Spring Baptist Church with Pastor Donnie Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in Evening Star Cemetery.
Public viewing will be held from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at the Funeral Home.
