John Noble Hurley, 82, widower of Rose Mary Edwards, entered into eternal rest on July 29, 2022, at Self Regional Healthcare. He was born on May 31, 1940, to the parentage of the late Albert Hurley, Sr. and Mary Lou Thomas.
He loved to attend Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Coronaca, SC. He also worked as a Meat Cutter at the A&P Store, Food Lion of Greenwood, Abbeville Meat Cutter and Bi-lo of Greenwood.
He is preceded in death by his wife; parents; brothers: Henery Hurley, Albert Hurley, James Austin Hurley and Tommy Allen Hurley; and sisters: Pauline Hurley, Essie Mae Tolbert and Lillie Moss Harrison.
He is survived by his children: Deborah (Curtis) Clark of Greenwood, SC, Carol Jean (Richard) Woodward of Atlanta, GA, Johnnie Mae Hurley of the home, Linda (Otis) Clark of Lake Seminole, GA, Darren Lee (Sandra) Hurley of Waterloo, SC; sisters: Nina Mae Watts, Rhunette Terry, Nickie Tolbert, Bessie Johnson, Elizabeth Hurley and Dot Hurley; grandchildren: Mario Norman, Rayhem Clark, Donald Norman, Xavier Walker, Titania, Joshua Hurley, Deandre Hurley, Jaylin Hurley, India Haygood, Darren Laventa Hurley, Olivia Clark and Otis Clark, Jr.; great-grandchildren: Cameron Norman, Zelman Norman, Issac Clark and Jayla Lee Clark; and a host of relatives and friends to cherish his memories.
Visitation will occur on Thursday, August 4, 2022, from 1:00 pm til 4:00 pm in the Percival-Tompkins Chapel. Funeral Services are private.
