Jeanette Jackson Phillips, 85, widow of Henry “Fox” Phillips, entered into eternal rest on December 19, 2025, at Self Regional Medical Center. She was born in Spartanburg, SC, on April 28, 1940, a daughter of the late Richard Lee Gist and Rosa Jackson Hardy and stepdaughter of Robert Hardy.
She attended Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Greenwood.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Henry “Fox” Phillips, and her siblings, James Jackson, Robert Jackson, William Jackson, Douglas Jackson, Ella McClain, Hattie Wilkins and Julie Burgess.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories: a son, Eric Jackson, of the home; her sisters, Brenda (James) Wideman of Ninety-Six, SC, Inez Figgins of Columbus, GA and Lizzie Brewton; her step children, Stanley Craig of Winnsboro, SC, Stanley (Louise) Little of Anderson, SC, Sherman Little, Sheila Chamberlain, Robin Wideman and Melissa Phillips of Greenwood, SC; a sister in law, Connie Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Rivers officiating.
Interment will follow in New Pilgrim Baptist Church Cemetery, 5040 Rainbow Lake Road, Campobello, SC 29332.
Public viewing will be held from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at the Funeral Home.
The family is at the home of a sister, Brenda Wideman,120 Joseph Road, Ninety, Six, SC, 29666.
