Horace Rollinson

Horace Rollinson, 79, formerly of 115 Myrtle Street, entered into eternal rest on January 12, 2026, at Self Regional Healthcare. He was born on November 20, 1946, the son of the late Ollie Rollinson and Alberta Boyd Rollinson. 

He is preceded in death by a brother, Roosevelt Boyd; paternal grandparents, Horace Rollinson and Sarah Young; and maternal grandparents, Wardlaw and Anne Washington Boyd.

Horace attended J.S. Wright High School in Abbeville, SC and Brewer High School in Greenwood, SC. Horace was a retiree of Pirelli Cable System of Abbeville, SC.

He is survived by: two sons, Horace Rollinson, Jr. and Stanley (Stephanie) Rollinson, of Greenwood; one daughter, Katina (Ray) Sims, of Greenwood; one sister, Annie Burton, of Greenwood; three brothers, Oillie G. Rollinson, Moses Calhoun, Jr. and James Rollinson; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Funeral services will be held at Noon on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at St. Paul FBH Church with Rev. Willie Elmore, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Evening Star Cemetery. Mr. Rollinson will lie in state from 11:00 am until Noon at the Church on Saturday.

Public viewing will be held from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Friday, January 16, 2026, at the Funeral Home.
