Francine Sheppard

Francine Sheppard, 65, of 918 Taggart Avenue, transitioned into eternal rest on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Self Regional Medical Center. She was born in Greenwood County on November 2, 1959, a daughter of Buddy Sheppard and Addrena Luchie Sheppard.

She was employed with the family business Rick’s Uptown Cafeteria for many years and was always a joy to be around.

She was preceded in death by her parentsa daughter, Lekeisler Latral Sheppard; two brothers, Richard "Rick" Sheppard and Bobie Sheppard and a sister, Hattie Lagroone.

Francine fought a good fight and now she has gained her Heavenly wings!!!

She leaves to cherish her memory: a loving son, Stanley Little, of Greenville, SC; her devoted daughter and caregiver, Shavetta Sheppard, of the home; three sisters: Pauline Key of Greenwood, SC, Carrie Irby of Simpsonville, SC, and Jeanella Thompson of Laurens, SC; 10  grandchildren: Miangel Sheppard, Leonard Reese, Jr., T’vyis Little, Silas Little, Kezaria Robinson, Kezyus Robinson, Jaylen Partlow, Triston Sheppard, Zaiden Sheppard and Paris Henderson; two great grandchildren, Braiden Chase and Brielle Sheppard; her fiancé, Tony Wilson, of Greenwood, SC; two sisters-in-law, Clara Sheppard of Greenwood, SC and Florence Sheppard of Ware Shoals, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Percival-Tompkins Funeral Home with Rev. Alvin Deal officiating.

The family is at the home, 918 Taggart Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646. 

There will be no public viewing.
