Ethel Mae Turner, 97, of 305 Campbell Street, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at her home. She was the daughter of the late Minnie Garrett.
She was a member of Springfield Baptist Church in Greenwood and the Women Aide Society and the Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by: a son, Samuel Turner, of the home; two grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Springfield Baptist Church with Reverend Sheryl Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Evening Star Cemetery. Ms. Turner will be placed in the church at 10:00 am. Public viewing will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024, in the Percival-Tompkins Chapel from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm. The family is at the home.
