Ethel Spearman

Ethel " Toni" Spearman 75, daughter of the late Jesse C. and Willie Bell Kemp Spearman-Parker(James) entered into eternal rest on May 30, 2023 in Munich Germany

She was educated in the Greenwood Public School System and Graduated from Brewer High School Class of 1965. In School she played in the High School Band(Saxophone)

At an Early age she was baptized and joined Beulah Baptist Church. She also united with the New Bethany Baptist Church. 

She later moved to New York and entered into the United States Army and became a Military Police. She was later Stationed in Munich Germany where she made her home. She loved singing and playing Blues and traveled with  her band all over the country.

Those who preceded her in death where her parents, her step father, James Parker, Sr , two brothers, Clarence Belcher ,James A Parker, Jr., and grandchild , Alfonso Spearman III.

She leaves to cherish her life one son, Alfonso "Al"  Spearman of Greenwood; three grandchildren, Nicole Spearman of Ninety-Six, SC an Alfonso "AJ" Spearman (Tabitha) of Columbia, SC, Ashley White of Greenwood; four great grandchildren, Jay Duncan and Ny'Ajia Park, Karter Spearman and Ava Spearman of Columbia SC; four sisters, Emma Jean(George) Tutt of Plum Branch, Mary Roberts of Augusta, GA, Lillian Washington of Greenwood and Tracy Carter of Greenville, SC;  two god sisters, Daisy Dobbs of Greenwood  and Pam Crawford of Ninety-Six SC ; two brothers, Arch Bishop Emanuel Spearman of Hodges, SC and Stanley Carter of Greenwood; two god brothers, Theodore Moore(Mable) and Henry (Velma) Wardlaw of Greenwood; four  aunts, Pastor Beulah Reagins and Thelma K. Spearman both of Hodges, SC and Ruth P. Smith  and Rosa Griffen of Greenwood and  a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will held 1PM Friday June 23, 2023 at Zion Hill Baptist Church 10922 SC-39, Cross Hill, SC 29332. There is no public viewing. The family is at the home of a brother, Emauel Spearman 1014 Flatwood Road, Hodges, SC.
