On Tuesday, April 14, 2026 God called home one of his angels, Estelle Anderson.
Estelle was born in Waterloo, SC to the late Ozzie Vance Cook, Sr. and the late Agnes Anderson Cook. She was a member of Laurel Hill Baptist Church. Although she was not formally employed, she was known to be a loving caregiver to many.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Anderson, by five brothers - Jimmy Cook, Freddie Lee Cook, William T. Anderson, John Wesley Cook, and Ozzie Vance Cook, Jr.
Surviving are three sisters - Sarah Louise Cook of the home in Marietta, GA, Beatrice (Clarence) Yeldell of Greenwood, SC, and Edith Dowtin of Tampa, FL; one brother - Lynn Dale (Shirley) Cook of Waterloo, SC. Of the home, she is survived by one niece, Belinda Cook, of Marietta, GA and one great-nephew, Frederick Jackson, III, of Marietta, GA. She is also survived by two aunts - Annie Laura Foggie of Waterloo, SC and Lillie Pearl Lovelist of Laurens, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to cherish her memory.
Services will be held at 2 pm Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Laurel Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Richard officiating. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Ms. Anderson will lie in state from 1:00 pm until 2: 00 pm on Saturday in the church.Public Viewing will be held from 1PM -6 PM at the funeral home. The family is at the home of her sister, Beatrice (James) Yeldell, 124 Sheldon Avenue, Belle Meade Subdivision, Greenwood, SC. Percival-Tompkins Funeral Home is honored to serve the Anderson/Cook Family.
