Emory “aka ScrapIron aka Junebug” Brown Jr., 64, of 525 Sumter Street, entered into eternal rest on Aril 14, 2025, at his home.
He was born in Greenwood County on February 26, 1961, a son on the late Emory Brown and Etrulla Moore Brown.
He was formerly employed with as a Landscaper and was pretty much a “Jack of All Trades”. He was always on the move and he loved his family dearly. He found joy in taking his grandson “Jack” to the park.
Surviving are: a son, Antwon Allen, of Greenwood; a daughter, Tiera Brown (Robert Dale), of Greenwood; one brother, Terry Lewis Brown (Linda), of Promised Land; five sisters: Bessie Collins (Douglas), Linda Cason (Steve), Trudy Brown, Virginia Carter (Bruce), Jacquelyn Reynolds (Willie) and Lashawn Thomas, all of Promised Land; three grandchildren: Dementrios Allen, Verquez Brown Sanders and Tyryen “Jack” Dale; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to mourn his passing.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Mt. Zion A.M.E. in Promised Land with Rev. James Louden officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Public viewing will be from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the Funeral Home.
The family is at the home of his daughter, Tiera Brown, 626 McLees Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646 and the home of a sister, Trudy Brown, 120 Bloom Road, Bradley, SC 29819.
