Emily (Kinard) Nicholson

Emily Nicholson 93, of 1110 Marshall Road entered into eternal rest on February 26, 2023 at her home. She was born in Greenwood County August 8, 192 a daughter of Williams Jones and Rosa Kinard Jones. She was a seamstress and homemaker. She was a member of Little Zion AME Church where she one of the founders of the Little Zion Gospel Chorus Gospel , Senior Choir and the Slylight Singers and the Singing Angles. She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Sammie Hill  (Renea) of Greenwood; a daughter, Betty Terry of Greenwood; one sister, Rosa Dean of Philadelphia, Pa. and a host of grands, great grands and gg grands. Services will be held 12:30 Friday, March 3, 2023 at Little Zion AME church with Rev. Beatrice Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Nicholson will be placed in the church at 11:30 am. Public viewing and visitation will be from 6-7 pm Thursday at the Funeral Home. The family is at their respective homes.
