Mr. Dwight William Anty, husband of Diana Smith Anty, entered into eternal rest on November 28, 2023, at AnMed Health. He was born to the parentage of the late Little A. Anty and Ethel Lee Tolbert Anty on May 6, 1957.
After graduating from Ware Shoals High School Class of 1975, Dwight served in the Army and retired from Capsugel after 25 years of service. Dwight also was a member of Dunn Creek Baptist Church where he formerly served as an usher and choir member.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Anty.
In addition to his loving wife, Diana S. Anty, of the home, he leaves to cherish his memories: a daughter, Tresli Oneka Bethea (Montrell) of Houston, TX; four sons: Emmanueal Leverette of Cherokee, NC, Titus Anty of Atlanta, GA, Bryant Leverette (Ashley) of Spartanburg, SC; Dwight W. Anty, Jr. of Waterloo, SC, and Jamar Keiron Anty (Shandrecia) of Hodges, SC; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Randy Anty of Columbia, SC; a sister, Althea Anty of Colorado; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Dunn Creek Baptist Church with Rev. James F. Davis officiating. Mr. Anty will lay in repose at 1 PM in the church. Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park. Public viewing will be held in the Percival-Tompkins Chapel on Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 1 PM until 5 PM. The family will receive visitors at their home, 9 Polly Street (Honea Path, SC).
