Demetria Olivia "Meat G" Gilchrist 42, entered into eternal rest on October 2,2022. She was born in Greenwood County March 26, 1980.
Surviving is her mother, Betty Gilchrist of Greenwood; a brother, Johnny Gilchrist(Shemar) of Greenwood; a sister, Belinda Harmon of Greenwood; two god children, Tremaiye Elmore and Tremaine Pride and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Noon Saturday, October 8 at Immanuel Outreach Ministries with Pastor Nicholas Spearman officiating. Ms. Gilchrist will be placed in the church at 11:00 am. Public viewing will be from 2-5 pm Friday. The family is at the home of her brother, Johnny Gilchrist, 2603 Edgefield Street, Greenwood, SC. Percival Tompkins Funeral Home is honored to serve the Gilchrist family.
