David Calhoun

David Calhoun was born on August 31st, 1955, in West Palm Beach, Florida. He entered his eternal life on July 14, 2022, at Magnolia Manor.

David worked as a Concrete Finisher for Calhoun Concrete Finishing for more than forty years.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lola Calhoun; father, James Calhoun; and a brother, Joe Lewis Calhoun.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Lona M. Calhoun of the home; three daughters: Sonya Calhoun, Jacqualine Calhoun and Stephanie Calhoun; three sisters: Fannie M. Williams (JR Williams), Tammy Nance and Patricia Glover (Benjamin Glover); two brothers: Tony Calhoun (Sharon White) and Ricky Calhoun (Linda Calhoun); sister-in-law, Cheryl Calhoun; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; goddaughter shared with his wife, Yashieka Spencer; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews and relatives to mourn his passing.

David will be missed and forever loved.

Services will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Antioch Baptist Church, Hwy 178, Saluda, SC at 1 PM with Reverend Wright L. Austin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 1 – 5 PM.

The family is at the home of his wife and daughters, 211 Cromer Road, Hodges, SC.
