DaMoni Kani Simpkins 11 resided at 211 Virginia Avenue went to walk with God on June 26, 2025. He was born in Greenwood County January 22, 2014 a son of Dexter Simpkins and Nakeisha Martin. Moni was 5 years old, and lived six years after his tragic accident on October 2019. He attended Douglas Elementary in Trenton, SC Matthews and Woodfield’s Elementary both in Greenwood. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Dexter (Tiesha) Simpkins and Makeisha (Elijah) Smith; his sister, Taraji Martin; his maternal grandparents, Crystal (Arthur) Parks, Patricia (Elijah, Sr.) Smith; paternal grandfather. , Bobby Simpkins Sr. and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins. Moni loved attending school He had the biggest and brightest personality. He loved his Batman, which he took everywhere. He will be truly missed by everyone from South Carolina and New York.
