Cynthia "Cookie" D. Williams

Cynthia D. “Cookie” Williams, 65, of 2146 Nashboro Blvd., Nashville, TN, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. Born in Greenwood, SC, she was the daughter of the late Brodie Williams and Bertha Logan-Williams of Coronaca, SC.

Cookie was a 1975 graduate of Greenwood High School and a 2000 graduate of Piedmont Technical College. Cookie was retired from Chromalox Precision Heating Controls in LaVergne, TN. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Coronaca.

Cookie was preceded in death by her sister, Berthenia Logan-Momodu, and four brothers: Brodie Williams, Howard “Bubba” Logan, Larry Williams and Donnie Logan.

Cookie is survived by her two daughters: Renee’ Williams of Nashville, TN and Corinthians Williams of Atlanta, GA; grandson, Ta’Corian Williams; two brothers: Jimmy D. (Eleanor) Williams, Sr. and Barry L. (Barbara) Williams both of Ninety Six, SC; aunt, Alice Logan of Coronaca, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will occur on Sunday, August 21, 2022, from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Percival-Tompkins.

Funeral Services will occur at 10:30 am on Monday, August 22, 2022, at Friendship Baptist Church (Ninety Six, SC) with Rev. Joe Caldwell, officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Coronaca, SC.

The family is at the home of a brother, Jimmy Williams, Sr. 718 Lebanon Church Road, Ninety Six, SC, 29666.
