Cynthia Denise Spearman, 61, of Greenwood passed away on Friday, December 11, 2025.
Born in Greenwood County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Spearman Sr. and Bobbie Jean Spearman. Cynthia was a proud graduate of Greenwood High School Class of 1982 and a devoted member of Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Willie Spearman Jr.
She is survived by: her son, Brandon Charles Spearman of Greenwood, SC; her daughter, Krystall Nicole Rogers (Tommy Rogers), of Charlotte, NC; four sisters, Pamela Santiago (Elias Santiago) of Greenwood, SC, Toi Spearman of Dallas, TX, Shantel Fisher (Travius Fisher) of Taylors, SC, and Deshonda Spearman of Taylors, SC; one brother, Christopher Spearman (Demetria Spearman), of Greenwood, SC; one uncle, Charlie W. Spearman of Greenville, SC; two great-aunts, Easter Harrison (Lafayette Harrison) of Greenwood, SC, and Sadie White of Greenwood, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives. She also had three very special friends: Aretha Rice, Julia Jackson, and Estell Jones.
Cynthia will be remembered for her warm spirit, unwavering faith, and love for her family and children.
Services will be held on Wednesday, December 17th, 2025, at 1:00 pm in the Percival-Tompkins Chapel. Bishop Emmanuel Spearman will share words of comfort.
There will be no public viewing. The Spearman family may view Cynthia from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Tuesday.
The family is at their respective homes.
