Charles Covington, 63 of Boiling Springs, SC husband of Michelle Wilson Covington passed peacefully away September 11, 2025 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Charles was born on July 31, 962 to the late Sarah Hogan and James Turner and was the step son onf Pledge Hogan.
He was preceded in death his siblings James A. Covington and Carolyn Williams.
He was a self-employed in Lawn Care and was a member of New Spring Church in Spartanburg, SC.
Charles loved all children and was a kind hearted and giving person. He never met a stranger. Listening to his music and fishing were things he loved doing.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle Wilson-Covington; three daughters , Tititolayo (Edwin) Payton-Dennis, Greer, SC, Klelekka Quarles, Greenville, SC and Nakija Covington, Greenwood, SC; four step-children, Tyrell (Queenetta) Calhoun of Greenwood, SC , Brianna Calhoun of Phoenix, AZ, Coron Calhoun of Boiling Springs, SC and Terry Carter, Phoenix, AZ; sixteen grandchildren; his siblings,Barbara Brown, Maggie Sims, Shirley Williams, James Covington, Malcolm Covington all of Greenwood, SC., Janice Calhoun of Bradley, SC, Thomas (Catherine) Covington of Greenville, SC and Barrett (Ericka) Covington of North Augusta, SC.
He also leaves to cherish his memory numerous nieces & nephews that loved him dearly, along with many other family & friends that loved him as well.
Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Trinity Untied Methodist Church, Greenwood, SC with Rev Kendall Covington officaiting.
The body will be placed in the church 2 PM.
The family is at the home of Clenese “ Click” Covington 106 Squirrel Tree Road, Country Homes Subdivision, Greenwood, SC.
