On July 10, 2024 our Heavenly Father decided to send his Heavenly angel to Glenwood Road, Greenville, SC and take Brittany Faye Gaines from labor to reward. He knew the pain down the road and she answered the call.
She was born in Greenwood County August 8, 1985 a daughter of James Gaines and Davonna Gaskin Williams. The she was the step daughter of Thomas Williams.
She graduated from Greenwood High School Class of 2003.
She was a devoted employer of Eagles Gas Station in Greenville where she was a manager for over 16 years. She was
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Willie Thomas Gaskin and grandmother, Malinda Sue Gaskin and her great grandparents, Wille and Zennie Mae Gaskin and her step grandparents, Clyde and Josie Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memories her mother , Davonna (Thomas) Williams, her father, James Gaines, three sons, De’Andra Williams, Malachi Gaines and Kingston Cole; two brothers, De’Andra Gaines and Jasper Gaines; her step brother, Rev John Williams, step sisters, Roxie Williams, Love ( Shay) Gaston, Hope Goodwin, Angela (Corey) Robinson; one uncle, Keith Gaskin, one aunt, Crystal (Melvin) Williams ; one great uncle, David ( Alice ) Gaskin, two great aunts, Ruby Smith and Mattie Gaskin, one niece, Sanai Gaines; one nephew, Zakari Gaines and a special cousin, Robert “Boot” Gaskin, a really unique friend, Sammie Williams and a host of other aunts, uncles nieces, nephews cousins and friends to mourn her passing. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday July 21, 2024 at Bailey Bethel AME Church with Elder Derrick Scott Presiding and Rev. Roosevelt Moton Officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Ms Gaines will be placed in the church at 1:00 PM. Public viewing will be held from 1- 6 pm on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of her mother, Davonna (Thomas) Williams 842 Christian Road, McCormick, SC.
