Betty Lester Beaty

Betty Lester Beaty, 79, of112 Palmetto Court, Greenwood, SC, entered into eternal rest on November 18, 2025, at her home. She was born in Greenwood County on December 9, 1945, a daughter of Thomas Carolina Williams and Isabell Mosley Williams. She was a member of Flint Hill Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Greenwood Packing Plant.

She was preceded in death by: her son, Michale Williams and her siblings, Willie Lee Williams, Robert Williams, Larry Williams, Charles Williams, Fannie Mae Williams, Margie Gray and Etta Bell Holloway.

She is survived by: her companion, Lloyd Deal, of the home; three sons, Harold Williams, Pete Beaty, and Demont Beaty all of Greenwood; one sister, Jeanette Price, of Greenwood a brother, Charles Williams, of Seattle Washington; and a host grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Flint Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Rodney Curry presiding and Rev. Andrew Deal officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Ms. Beaty will lie in state from 10:00 AM until the service hour on Saturday.

Public viewing will be from 1:00 pm  until 5:00 pm on Friday, November 28, 2025, at the Funeral Home.
