Anthony D Oliver 69, of 217 Herbert Court entered into eternal rest and peace on May 21, 2026 at Self Regional Rehabilitation Hospital. He was born in Greenwood County to Beatrice Oliver and James Hawkins, Sr.
He was a graduate of Greenwood High School Class of 1975 and from Piedmont Technical College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He was a member of John’s Creek Baptist Church and employed with Gleams for many years.
Surviving is his wife of the home, Sherry Brooks Oliver ; two sons, Michael Oliver(Faith) and Brandon Oliver of Greenwood; one daughter, Crystal Oliver of Ware Shoals,; three brothers, James Hawkins, Christopher Hawkins of Greenwood and Andrew Hawkins(Pansy) of Jacksonville, Florida; three sisters, Ethel Hawkins and Kimberly Hawkins of Greenwood and Michelle Rodgers; 13 grandchildren , one great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Services will be held 2 PM Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Percival Tompkins Chapel with Rev, Alvin Deal officiating. Burial will be in the Evening Star Cemetery. Public viewing will be from 1-5 PM on Monday at the funeral Home.
The family is at the home. Percival Tompkins Funeral Home is honored to serve the Oliver family.
