Albert “June Bug” Brown 64, of 128 Lisa Drive, Greenwood entered into eternal rest on August 30, 2023 at Self Regional Medical Center. He was born in Greenwood County December 17, 1958 a son of the late Albert Brown, Sr and Rosa Mae Baylor. He was a self-employed Truck Driver where he owned and operated Brown Trucking and also co- owned B & B Lawn Supply with his brother Willie. He was a graduate of Greenwood High School Class on 1977 and was of the Baptist Faith.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Demetrias Dunlap.
Surviving is a son, Vernon Dorell Turner of Lenoire, NC; three daughters, Tammy Renee Marshall, Stephanie Ann Price of Greenwood and Myisha Thompson of Washington, DC; one brother, Willie Anthony Brown of the home; a step daughter, Lashunda Turner of Greenwood, a step son, James Wideman (Sharon) of Greenwood; 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be 1 PM Wednesday, September 6., 2023 at Percival Tompkins Chapel with Rev. Willie K Cannady officiating. Burial will be in Evening Star Cemetery. Public viewing will be Tuesday from 1-6 PM. The family is at the home. Percival Tompkins Funeral Home is honored to serve the Brown family.
